Architectural Services & Disposition Plans A full architectural service for both conversion and new build residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial.
Whether it be a matter of extending a garage, alterations to existing buildings or providing an Exhibition Hall, we have considerable experience in taking the project from initial inception, with sketch plans up to completion of the works. This service includes preparing design drawings, preparation of schedule of works, receiving quotations from trades, preparing building contracts, applying for planning and building warrant consents and supervising works through We have been recognised, being in recepit of awards for conservation work, two of our projects are referred to in the Buildings of Scotland Series, Borders Edition, published by Yale University Press.  Before Conversion This building, which is located in Bridge Street, Kelso, lay in a poor state for a considerable period of time. We were commissioned to carry out a comprehensive conversion of the subjects creating two retail outlets along with eleven flats. This project was short listed for a Regeneration of Scotland Award.
 After Conversion
 Before Conversion This redundant former seed store, centrally situated to the town Square, was wholly converted by us to form a total of eight flats with integral car parking facilities in a secure environment. We were awarded a Commendation in works for Conservation by the Scottish Borders Council under their Architectural Awards Scheme.  After Conversion
Industrial Buildings  This 10,000 sq.ft. factory unit adjoins the Kelso Bypass and while based on a steel portal frame, has an enhanced frontage providing a building of high standard, reflected in the works carried out by the owners.
Public Access Facilities Border Union Exhibition Hall The exhibition hall at the Border Union Show Site at Springwood Park, Kelso is the centrepiece of a three quarter of a million pound investment programme to improve facilities up to conference centre standards. We were commissioned to advise on the works including all architectural design services for a contract completed on a budget within a tight time frame.
Specialist civil engineering project to provide sewerage facilities for a site giving a capability of accommodating numbers up to 2000 over a very short period of time. This engineering project was designed and supervised by us, creating a system which addressed many short term issues.
Residential We additionally oversee and certify new build property, both for private clients and for lending institutions.
